I am a Senior Research Scientist at Northwest Research Associates. My work combines mathematical analysis, numerical modeling, observational methods, and scientific software to study waves, eddies, transport, and turbulence in the ocean.
I have served as principal investigator on research grants funded by the Office of Naval Research, the National Science Foundation, and NASA.
I develop open-source tools so that the methods behind this research can be tested, reused, and extended.
